well, i didn't mention above that I'm also a real bookworm. There are so many good books out there, but the only problem is that you have to go through some terrible ones to find them.
Robert Muchamore is an amazing author, he wrote the CHERUB series. These books begin with James Choke and his sister Lauren livning in a rough areabut with a mum who's the head of a shoplifting gang. They both have every toy a kid could ever wish for. Then, a family tragedy occurs and James' split up from his little sister and James finds himself in a new world. The world of spies.
There are heaps of books in this series, the first one being 'The Recruit', and they're a fab read for anyone who likes a laugh, a bit of action and a good storyline.
I also recommend the 'Alex Rider' series by Anthony Horowitz. Its very good, but not as realistic as the CHERUB series, and not quite as funny, but it has some really good plot twists, and there's even a teeny bit in the most recent book, 'Snakehead' that's set in Australia.
Anthony Horowitz also wrote another series, 'Power of Five'. This series is more supernatural, but it still has lots of twists and turns and is a gripping thriller that is almost impossible to put down. Only three of the five-book series have been written so far, but hopefully we won't have too long to wait until they're all out in stores.
Another one which i would recommend is the 'Georgia Nicolson' series by Louise Rennison. It has SO many amazing words and sayings, like ditherspaz and ballisticamas (if you want to know exactly what they mean, grab one of the books and look at the glossary at the back, or go to the series' website). Definitely a good easy reading series for some good laughs and a fab way to relax.
Hope you try out some of these books, they are really awesome and i have most of the books mentioned above and are fantastic to have around when you're in need of a bit of reading material.
Happy reading!
